The Dog Wash

Our dog Lucy was a client of The Dog Wash since 2022. At her last appointment, the fee unexpectedly rose from $85 to $97 without notice due to Lucy’s weight going above 17lbs but she has been above 17lbs since August 2022. When I questioned this error, the owner became defensive, accused me of yelling, canceled all bookings, and hung up. Despite paying $100 per visit with tips, she was rude and unprofessional. I’ve since found a better salon and hope The Dog Wash improves its customer service.

PLEASE BE AWARE: If your dog has knots in their fur, the owner will THREATEN TO CALL ANIMAL SERVICES My mom made an appointment and they informed her over the phone my dog will be done within 3 hours. My dog was not. They LIED to her. My mom wanted our dog back. They THREATENED to call ANIMAL SERVICES because my dog had knots in her fur in which we explained that she hates it when we brush her fur. Horrible experience with this dog groomer. ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR FROM OWNER. FIND ANOTHER PLACE.

We have a Sheltland Sheepdog with a coat like a polar bear. It is impossible for me to brush her hair. The Dog Wash are magicians...they groom her in a few hours which would take me days to do....and they remove all her excess coat which I could never do. Thank you for the wonderful work.

I am definitely not giving them any stars but unfortunately that option is not a choice !! For the harm they have done to my dog ! And the way it was handled by the staff and the owner let me tell you in short words if you care and love your pet don’t even consider going to this horrible place in my opinion it should be shut down yes it is that bad ! Worse experience ever and definitely don’t wish that on any pet !

Angela and her team have been incredible with my (difficult!) dog, Mik, since she took over the business years ago. Angela is super professional and attentive (award winning grooming titles prove it!). Thanks Angela for making Miks grooming experience a positive one! Appreciate it and would recommend you to any animal lover ;)

Im still fairly new to the area. Been twice in the last 6 months. Price/service seemed about average, lacked customer service, but I guess they were rather busy both times I was there. Still, should take pride in service as busy as you may be...think I will keep looking...

To say the staff are rude would be an understatement.

Angela & Jody are just fabulous. The grooming is world class (isn't Angela rated one of the best in Canada?) The care and attention they pay to Bruno Mars is outstanding. Bruno loves to go there, especially to have lunch with Jody. I would never consider going anywhere else. The Dog Wash rocks!

Angela is such a talented groomer. I love the way my bichon poo looks when she comes out. My brother also brings his dog there. I won't let anyone but Angela groom my dog.

Poor customer service

I went on a Monday morning and their doors were locked. Called their number and left a message for call back and never heard from them. I am frustrated and disappointed after this experience with The Dog Wash. I had been there before but will not be going back simply because this is a not a diligent company. The service is mediocre even when they're open. Recommend avoiding this place.
